Fiji Airways Becomes a Oneworld Member

Since 2018, Fiji Airways has been a Oneworld Connect partner airline. Oneworld Connect allows smaller airlines to integrate into the Oneworld alliance as an alternative to full membership. To join the Oneworld Connect program, a new airline must be sponsored by at least three full alliance members. In the case of Fiji Airways, it was four: American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, and Qantas. As announced in June 2024, Fiji Airways' Oneworld Connect membership will transition to full Oneworld membership next year. Significant changes are also coming to the frequent flyer program. The current program, Tabua Club, will be discontinued, and American Airlines' AAdvantage program will be adopted.
