It seems that some SAS EuroBonus members recently received a promotional email with an intriguing offer for the Radisson Rewards hotel program. On a special promotion page, recipients of this email can register for Radisson Rewards VIP status. Important Note: It appears that new accounts receive the status for two years, while existing accounts only get VIP membership for one year.

If you're interested in Radisson Rewards VIP status, you should act quickly. Radisson likely did not plan for this, and it’s probably only a matter of time before the promotion is terminated. We’re also not sure if the upgraded accounts will retain the status or if Radisson will downgrade everyone who wasn’t eligible.

However, participating in the promotion costs nothing, so there's little to lose. Although, to be honest, we wouldn't risk an account with millions of points for this. There's always a slight chance of account suspension. In that case, it might be better to create a new account.
