DEAL: Buy Hilton Honors points with a 100% bonus (0.50$/point) until Sep 24th

Book the outstanding Conrad Osaka with points (Source)

Hilton is currently running their regularly appearing campaign where they are selling points for half the price (or rather they are giving out a 100% bonus which is effectively the same). The promotion is up until Sep 24th.

You can buy a maximum of 240,000 points through these promotions per year, which results in a total yield of 240,000 + 240,000 = 480,000 points.

You get the bonus of 100% from buying 6,000 points or more.

Is buying Hilton points a good deal?

While often using Hilton points does not give you a good deal due to dynamic pricing, it can be a fantastic way of booking some of the more higher-end properties. Have a look at these options below and see how much you can save on average.

Please note that depending on the property, it can be difficult to find availabilities for 5 consecutive nights. You might have to book either very far out (up to a year is possible) or be very flexible in the short-term when more reward rooms are being released.

Note: You will only get these good redemption rates when you book a standard room (up to 150,000 points per night depending on the property). Premium reward rooms are usually not a good redemption.

Also make sure that you make use of the book-5-pay-4 redemption rates - for Hilton Honors members, when booking 5 nights you will only have to pay for 4 nights. That means that for a 5-night redemption stay at 80,000 points per night, you will only pay 4 x 80,000 = 320,000.
