Here are all Aman Hotels ranked by price and when to visit

Aman Hotels is synonymous with serenity, luxury, and exclusivity. Since the opening of its first resort, Amanpuri, in Phuket, Thailand, in 1988, the brand has cultivated an unwavering reputation for offering guests an unparalleled sense of peace and privacy. Today, Aman encompasses 35 hotels, resorts, and residences across 20 countries, with an ambitious pipeline of future developments.

Unfortunately, if you have ever looked to book a stay at one of the Aman properties, you quickly come to realize that all of this comes at an eye-watering price. Few Aman properties offer nightly rates below $1,000, with most of them starting from even $2,000 or $3,000 per night.

The good news is that there are some ‘more affordable’ options out there. And I set out to find exactly those.

The Approach

First things first, this is not a deep analysis of any sorts. I simply wanted to know where all the Aman properties are, what their cheapest nights cost and in which month(s) these rates are being offered.

That means that I simply went through the pricing calendar for each property and tried to find the cheapest 1-night stay rate in there between February 2025 and January 2026.

Disclaimer: While I did approach this topic with the best of my abilities, I cannot exclude that I overlooked some cheaper rates. Mind that there are also whole months for some properties that are not available for booking at the time of me checking. Also, do note that while the rates can vary a lot, you can often find more availabilities with rates that only cost $10-20 more per night.

Lastly, of course I am not saying that you should go out of your way to stay at the cheapest Aman property just so you can say that you stayed at one. I simply was curious how the price levels compare and to give some travel inspiration.

With that out of the way, let’s look at the results.

Overview of properties - Top 3 Most Expensive

For this analysis, I looked at 34 properties in total, with one, the Aman Sveti Stefan in Montenegro not showing any availability so I excluded it.

The top 3 highest starting rate properties are the following:

1. Amangiri
Canyon Point, Utah, USA at $3,693/night

Blending into untouched red-rock country on over 900 acres of the Colorado Plateau, Amangiri and its satellite, Camp Sarika, reflect dual aspects of this ancient desert landscape. A serene sanctuary, Amangiri’s 34 modernist suites, Aman Spa and mesa-embracing pool echo the tranquillity of the canyons. Camp Sarika, with its 10 tented pavilions, answers the region’s call to adventure. An unrivalled base for exhilarating expeditions and fireside connection, the camp has its own restaurant, lounge and spa suites.

2. Aman Villas at Nusa Dua
Bali, Indonesia at $3,027/night

On Bali’s southernmost peninsula, famed for its golden beaches, ocean-side temples and frangipani-scented hillsides, Aman Villas at Nusa Dua rest poolside in lush tropical gardens. The perfect starting point for a journey through Indonesia, each is an Eden-like retreat serviced by two butlers and a private chef, providing easy access to a private Beach Terrace and the Bali National Golf Club.

Overview of properties - Top 3 Least Expensive

More importantly, however, we want to know which Aman hotel is offering the cheapest rate. So, here are the top 3 properties with the lowest nightly starting rates:

3. Amanfayun
Hangzhou, China at $787/night

Hidden away in a picturesque valley, Amanfayun is surrounded by tea fields, natural woodland and a pilgrimage circuit of seven ancient Buddhist temples. Just six kilometres from tranquil West Lake, a Unesco World Heritage Site, Amanfayun is a place apart where stone pathways lead to shaded courtyards and 46 peaceful abodes, some over a century old.

Months when you can find the lowest rate: February - December

2. Amandayan
Lijiang, China at $755/night

Set atop Lion Hill above the winding lanes and canals of Lijiang’s Unesco-protected Old Town, Amandayan is a serene retreat from which to explore Yunnan’s natural and cultural heritage. Claiming panoramic views, the resort and its tranquil spa are housed in elegant wooden dwellings inspired by Nakhi architecture, with Jade Dragon Snow Mountain ever-present on the horizon.

Months when you can find the lowest rate: February, March, November, December

1. Aman Summer Palace
Beijing, China at $708/night

Aman Summer Palace lies just steps from the East Gate of its eponymous Unesco World Heritage Site, with a door away from the historic garden estate. A peaceful retreat arranged around tranquil courtyards, the resort’s elegant rooms and suites are housed in gracious pavilions – those that accommodated guests of the Empress Dowager Cixi over 100 years ago.

Months when you can find the lowest rate: February - December

There seems to be a clear trend here - if you want to go to the cheapest Aman properties, travel to China. But there are a few more Aman properties that charge rates from under $1,000 per night. Here is the full list:

Conclusion

As you can see, the price ranges between the Aman properties are quite large and there are some hotels where you will likely never find rates below $2,000 per night. Nevertheless, if you are dead set on staying at an Aman hotel, your best bet is to visit one of the hotels in China, where you can consistently find rates at below $1,000 per night. Whether that price is worth the experience you get is something everyone needs to decide for themselves.
