Ritz-Carlton’s newest property has just opened its doors, and we believe it’s a hotel that will capture the interest of many Marriott Bonvoy members. I for sure cannot wait to try this hotel out!

Bangkok stands as one of the world’s top luxury hotel markets, boasting an impressive array of properties known for their quality and value. Now, another remarkable addition joins the city’s lineup — the Ritz-Carlton Bangkok, which opened in December 2024.

Situated in the One Bangkok development on Wireless Road, next to Lumpini Park, the hotel occupies the first 25 floors of a 50-story building. (We do miss the days when hotels were typically perched at the top of skyscrapers instead of the bottom.)

One caveat with Ritz-Carlton properties is the limited Marriott Bonvoy elite perks, as elite members don’t typically receive complimentary breakfast or club lounge access. However, Ritz-Carlton club lounges are renowned for their superior quality, and with Bangkok’s highly competitive hotel scene, perhaps the property will introduce some extra perks for elite members.

Nightly cash rates for base rooms currently range from 15,000 to 20,000 THB (~$460-620), depending on the date. While this is on the higher end for Bangkok, promotions and special offers may eventually make stays more enticing.
