This week, The Westin Bora Bora Resort & Spa officially opened, featuring the largest number of overwater bungalows on the French Polynesian island of Bora Bora. Formerly a Le Meridien property, the resort underwent a major renovation before becoming part of the Westin brand.

The new Westin boasts 128 overwater bungalows, many of which come with private plunge pools. Each bungalow offers breathtaking views of the property’s lagoon, the island, or the iconic Mount Otemanu. In addition, there are 14 family-friendly bungalows with lagoon views, designed to accommodate larger groups.
