A decade of luxury in New York! To mark this special milestone, Park Hyatt New York has announced extensive renovations. These multi-million dollar upgrades include the introduction of a new suite, as revealed in the hotel’s official press release:

“We are thrilled to unveil this remarkable transformation as we celebrate our 10th anniversary. The introduction of the Manhattan Suite and the upgrades to our existing product reflect our unwavering commitment to providing guests with the most tailored and elevated hospitality experience. We are confident this renovation will set the standard for the next decade of excellence in New York’s luxury hotel landscape.”

Known for its stunning skyline, iconic landmarks like the Statue of Liberty and Central Park, and the world-famous Times Square, New York also offers a diverse array of museums, theaters, and restaurants. With its unique neighborhoods like Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, the city has something to offer everyone.

To ensure Park Hyatt New York remains among the top luxury hotels in the city, several upgrades are planned. These include a new design with technological enhancements for the special suites, which the hotel plans to unveil as early as January next year. Additionally, all rooms with terraces will feature fireplaces—perfect for cozy winter evenings. The Rossano Ferretti Hair Spa found a new home in June, and by autumn, the Nalai Spa will welcome guests at a new location within the hotel.

However, the real highlight will be the introduction of the Manhattan Suite. This new suite will occupy the 25th floor, which will be entirely closed off for the renovations.

Ever dreamt of living like Carrie Bradshaw? The 3,500-square-foot Manhattan Suite at Park Hyatt New York promises to deliver that New York townhouse dream. The suite blends authentic apartment chic with natural materials, timeless elegance, and stylish comfort inspired by the city's dynamic energy. The rooms are adorned with walnut wood, light and dark travertine stones, and walls featuring works by renowned artists. And to top it off, you’ll enjoy an iconic view of Central Park from above!

Another unique feature of the suite? It can be connected with two guest rooms that have balconies, creating a wrap-around suite with three bedrooms, three large bathrooms, and a shared spacious living room with a dining table for eight. The luxurious service is completed with a bar, a private butler’s kitchen, and a separate study.

Away from the city's hustle and bustle, state-of-the-art technology ensures you can avoid jet lag. The master bathroom features a walk-in rain shower and a large marble bathtub. You can even watch your favorite TV programs on the mirror over the vanity.

Conclusion

We can’t wait to see how the renovation turns out and whether this will significantly change the experience guests have when visiting the Park Hyatt New York. One of my first videos on our UnmatchedVoyages YouTube channel was a review of the Park Hyatt New York and at that time, I was quite disappointed with the experience. Less so due to the hard product, but rather the underwhelming service across all facets of the hotel. Of course, that was many years ago and much can have changed in that time!
