As early as next year, the luxury train portfolio in Europe will expand. With the Norient Express, you'll be able to explore Norway's landscape in a nostalgic way. Interested? Then take a look at the article below! According to Visit Norway, the maiden journey of this luxury train is set for October 2025.
From Bergen via Oslo to Trondheim
No, it's not a typo—the luxury train is indeed called the Norient Express. Inspired by the historic Orient Express, the Norient Express will make its debut in Norway next year. Two electric trains will be equipped with high-quality furnishings, including a fitness room and an observatory. The train's design will be kept as natural as possible, using Norwegian materials. Although further details about the train’s amenities are not yet known, it is expected to be a product similar to the famous Orient Express. After all, the name certainly bears a close resemblance.
Trondheim
The first journey in October 2025 will travel from Oslo via Bergen to Trondheim. During the six-day trip, passengers will also experience the Dovre Line and the Bergen Line. As the Norient Express is electrically powered, it will be more environmentally friendly as well.
