DEAL: 100% Buy Hawaiian Airlines Miles at 1.17 cents per mile and Transfer 1:1 to Alaska Mileage Plan until Nov 15
The HawaiianMiles frequent flyer program is currently offering a 100% bonus on mile purchases until November 15th, 2024. While HawaiianMiles may not initially appeal to European travelers, Alaska Airlines is in the process of acquiring Hawaiian Airlines and its loyalty program. As part of this deal, the U.S. Department of Transportation has mandated a 1:1 mile transfer between the two programs.
Despite a devaluation in early 2024, the Alaska Mileage Plan still presents valuable redemption opportunities, such as short-haul flights within North America starting at 4,500 miles and within Asia at 7,500 miles. Business-class awards require double the mileage.
Alaska miles typically cost more during standard sales, making the purchase via HawaiianMiles and transferring through this promotion an attractive option.
Important Note: While our transfer to Alaska worked without issue, we cannot guarantee the same experience for everyone. To minimize risk, consider a test transfer of a small amount (e.g., 6,000 miles for $75) before making a larger purchase.

Sweet Spots for Alaska Miles
In March 2024, Alaska Mileage Plan underwent changes that increased award prices. However, good value can still be found, especially as Mileage Plan generally does not pass fuel surcharges for most airlines. A $12.50 booking fee applies to each award, and cancellations are permitted with the same fee retained.
